Kayte & Connor | Emu Bottom Homestead

Blessed with a beautiful warm and sunny day, I met Kayte & Connor at Sunbury’s epicurean Emu Bottom Homestead for their ‘I do’s’. They both wanted to do a first look, maybe because they wanted to keep the nerves at bay or maybe they were too darn excited to wait any longer to see each other before the ceremony! Speaking of the ceremony, that’s gotta be a record for one of the shortest I’ve witnessed…7 minutes from Kayte arriving to the first kiss! And it ended in an absolute storm of confetti, the weather man failed to forecast that! It was a day celebrating with a modest gathering of their nearest and dearest, some coming all the way from the U.K. Some of the resident sheep noticed the two were without a bridal party and put their hoofs up for the job, one even made a desperate attempt at the couple’s attention by getting its head stuck in a gate! It worked and Conner without hesitation freed his new Aries friend to the rapture of all their guests! As the sun set, the dance floor ramped up with some moves for the not so faint of heart. The splits, somersaults, shooie, air-trumpets, you name it, it was on! And it all ended in a quick minute with the two honoured with a sparkly sparkler exit!
