So, a bit about me.

I grew up in the Macedon Ranges on a small farm just outside of Kyneton with Mum, Dad and my two younger brothers. I’m now living an almost identical life with my amazing family on our own farm in a place we like to call “Taradise”! I love this part of the country and don’t think I’ll ever leave!

I have the most beautiful and supportive wife and I’m Dad to two amazing kids that are growing up waaaay too fast! Our lives revolve around horses, music, our adopted fur babies, camping, hiking and our love of spicy foods!

Me. I’m really a wanna-be rock star! A musician way before becoming a photographer, I still regularly write and play the occasional gig.

Before Journey By Light made it’s way into my life, I wore many hats. I have been a Procurement Manager, Concrete Labourer, Factory Hand, Retail Store Manager, Delivery Driver, Pay Officer, I.T. Assistant, Cabinet Maker, Guitar Tutor & even a Taxi Driver. But being a photographer has been my longest gig, and I can’t ever see myself doing anything else!.

Usual habits of mine are at least two coffees before noon, a cup of tea before bed, making home made pizza, morning walks with the dog, writing music, fixing things, building things, reversing trailers, cutting firewood, generally getting my hands dirty.

But at the end of the day I’m ever so grateful to everyone who has connected with Journey By Light over the last 12 years and let me into their lives to capture their own personal journeys, it really is the best feeling!
