Third time lucky! How true this rang for Tegan & Dean, shedding tears and frustration over Victoria’s on/off lockdowns to finally get an opening to celebrate in style at the stunning Vines Of The Valley. Meeting Dean and his crew at the couple’s house, there was an air of calm, mixed with a touch of trepidation. I mean this was the day Dean was going to finally marry his high school sweetheart and didn’t need to hear about another lockdown! Their greyhound baby, Cody, might have set him at ease a little with a reassuring cuddle. Tegan and the girls on the other hand, busy having the final touches in the MUA chair, seemed a little more excited about what was about to happen, just needing a pinch to know it was all real! And then it did as their nearest and dearest started flowing onto the grounds, just as excited to share this moment with them. Dean & Tegan walked down the aisle together to where their celebrant, Emma, was ready to officiate, everyone in their places. This was it. This was finally happening. Any doubt that it wasn’t soon fell away as Tegan & Dean embraced each other for their first kiss as Mr & Mrs! And then it was party time! I’ve never seen so many keen to get out on the dance floor! One could say that everyone was feeling on top of the world that day, they probably still are!
